Lifestyle enthusiast, Debbie Moore, began her career in hospitality in the late 1970's, when she opened and managed a home-based catering business.  Its success encouraged her to purchase a popular local fine dining restaurant.  Since 1992, Moore has served as the Executive Director of the Carbondale Illinois Convention & Tourism Bureau and is credited with having provided valuable assistance in the creation of the very popular Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, which features a dozen wineries, located just minutes apart.  Known by many as a wonderful chef and expert event organizer, Moore shares her talents in developing memoriable experiences that range from dinner for six on her popular back yard deck ... to dinner for hundreds in her community's banquet halls!   Author of three newspaper cooking columns, frequent guest speaker, successful tourism professional and very happy grandmother, Debbie Moore is pleased to offer you this helpful, entertaining site!
